The beginning...

Every time I sit down to write a blog I smack headfirst into an early brick wall. Call it writer's block if you'd like. I have a hard time getting an idea that is perfect enough to launch me into "The Zone" where my thoughts and ideas swirl around me and flow from my fingertips onto the page in under 30 minutes (which has only really happened once). I've found that getting something started is never that perfect moment, and it always takes some mental-prodding.

The same is true for Source Houston. The hardest part is just getting started. We've jumpstarted our community with this first conference Episode I Return of the Recruiters. We want to bring you some of the coolest tools, tips, and tricks to bring back to your desk. Why? Because we care about our recruiting community in the city of Houston.

To quote Shakespeare: Ay, there's the rub.

We want this to be a community of peers not a stage of performers. Collaborate, share, and participate with us. We as professionals in the industry are the artists and Source Houston is the canvas. We want to hear from the entire group not a select few.
